Morocco is a country with a very diversified terrain. The mountain covers 100,000 km², the centerpiece of this prestigious ensemble, the High Atlas, develops its relief over 700 km long. The Moroccan Atlas chain, headed by the mighty mountain the “Toubkal” mountain or adrar n’dern in Berber, the highest point of North Africa with 4165m is itself a center for tourism activities (hiking, skiing , …), the peaks at 4000m are easily accessible.
Be sides Mount Toubkal, the most visited mountains tourists in Morocco are the mountains of Siroua, Mgoun and Saghro.
Morocco has also a rich and varied desert, oasis and palm green, arid plateaus and stony, magic sand dunes, kasbahs and fortified ksours.
At its coastline, Morocco has a long coastline of 500Km in the Mediterranean side while the Atlantic coast is 3000km long.
Morocco’s political system is a constitutional monarchy whose current ruler is His Majesty the King Mohammed VI.
